Mini-symposium on Friction Dynamics

Friction elements are applied to many structures. Strong non-linearity, for instance, super-and sub-harmonics, quasi-periodic or chaos, is found in the system dynamics. It is certainly a key subject area in nonlinear science. In the past, a substantial body of work has been published in the literature and significant progress has been achieved. However, there are still many unknown or known unknowns. I believe that a special session in this subject will help to expand our existing knowledge base.
Prospective contributors are invited to submit their papers to one of the Chairman
by email. All presented papers will be published in the Proceedings and the
excellent papers will be recommended for publication in International Journal of Nonlinear
Sciences and Numerical Simulations or Chaos Solitons and Fractals, or other journals.
